Anybody know a sure fire spot to find one? I realize it's getting late in the year and they're a pretty rare find these days but I was just curious. I have yet to find one of these guys in the wild.

I have seen one in Jersey, I am a turtle guy but saw one in chatsworth a couple years ago. I see a couple everytime i go hiking in central pa. Last time i was trout fishing and i was walking over a down tree, next thing i heard was its rattle but couldn't see it. After some poking around he slithered away was a good size timber though.
Timbers in NJ? Lots with radio transmitters. Not that you would but, do not collect one.
Truthfully I doubt anyone would post the locations if they knew.
While most of us are conservation minded and responsible, ruthless collectors (poachers) do also frequent this site. I too would love to see some, but not at the risk of losing the last few. Good luck!!
