which tort do you think has a better personality?

RobertIII Oct 05, 2004 11:43 AM

i was wondering what everyone thought, because i keep reading that redfoots have a great personality and what not, but what about sulcata's? don't they have a great personality too? so in your own opion who do you think has a greater personality the redfoot? or the sulcata? and why? in my opion since i only have sulcatas at the moment i would say sulcatas!!

I think it depends on the tort. I have two Hermanns and one has a fantastic personality and the other is more withdrawn and not as much fun.

Well, admittingly I've only had my desert torts a day, but I know each one has personalities, one likes to eat.. grasses, remotes, rubber bands, etc.. the other one likes to explore and gets flipped over hourly.

Russians are great personality-wise. Even my most shy one eventually came around and now comes running to me for a treat when I get home each day.

Well I have had experience with Russians, Sulcatas, Leopards, Stars, Spiders and Pancakes. I have one Sulcata foster that Cracks me up. She is in love with my husband, steals the dogs (one pit bull mind you) bones and will follow me around like a dog. Right now she is the most personable tort I have dealt with.
