Not a Brazilian rainbow, but this adult female ringed python, has great color and iridescents for an adult.
Thanks.

Ringeds are one of the most under-rated, under-appreciated pythons available.

I'm curious about the general temperament of this species? Care requirements? Am contemplating a python addition, and would like a species that is somewhat unique. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Generally, all of mine have been spastic as youngsters, maturing into calm, trustworthy adults. Once out of the cage, that is. They have an insane feeding response and anything that enters the cage is preceived as food. I keep mine like normal pythons, with the exception of a humid hide box. Only house one animal per cage, as they will eat each other. As far as uniqueness, I think they are incredibly unique. They are active, iridecsent snakes that are easy and fun to keep.
