What exactly classifies a Coastal Rosy?

pythonsbaby Oct 05, 2004 02:59 PM

I live in Florida and am not very familiar with the localities as they sit geographically. I heard that Randy Limburg was working with an anery coastal. If so, then Limburg snows wouldnt be far behind. Are there localities inside of the coastal range? Are there any anerys that are classified as coastals?

Coastal rosies inhabit areas that aren't considered true desert, nor do they live in mountains that are wholly surrounded by desert. Coastal rosies tend to be the largest, most robust and darkest colored with jagged stripes out there (though the San Gabriel populations are rather light in color but still big.) If you want a rosy that can get darn big (for a rosy), a coastal is it. And they eat.
