Watch that [bleep]!!!!! It should be pretty damn good. I think it is going to become a regular show too. Not just a one time thing. It should be better than crocidle hunter also because its just snakes and lizards, no stupid crocs and nonsense.

He will willingly abuse an animal for show. What he does on television is terrible in my opinion. I love a good snake show as much as anybody, but I hate to see animals maltreated simply to make the host look cool (or so he seems to think!).
He also deliberately exaggerates the danger of situations to try and make himself look more manly. I watch to see the animals, but I hate the host.
The only good thing I have ever seen him do on TV was the African venomous snakes show where he was bitten twice by venomous snakes in the same show due to his careless and irresponsible handling techniques. Unfortunately, he survived both bites.

I think the show is pretty cool. I get to see alot of snakes I wouldnt usually get to see if this show werent around. He puts his life/health on the line to take photos that we look at and that inform people about snakes everyday online. I also think that your pretty sick wishing his death for his doing this. You should put yourself in his place and realize that you cant because you probably dont even have the guts to even imagine it. You dont get into his line of work hating and abusing snakes.
The animals handlers on Fear Factor and Austin Stevens know better. They would rather risk the animals health for a buck.
The problem with the producers of these types of shows is if you write them a letter they will just file it under some animals rights weirdo type.
the days of documentary's that were simply narrated and showed the animals pretty much unmolested. I dont need to see some "Snake Master" or "Crocodile Hunter" pissin off herps for ratings.

P.s. I wish some of these shows would do more on North American stuff besides Rattlers. Lets see some Kings and some native Lizards hell anything besides Rattlers as they have been done to death.

Amen to that!! I would pay to see a good two hour documentary on North American snakes!
True but if you write the sponsors a letter esp with signatures that your holding them responcible and will never buy their products and try to get others to do the same it might not.
I find fear factor pure trash that exploits humans and animals .
I wonder how many animals esp snakes die after some of those stunts. I watched 2 episodes and both had snake related garbage. I regret watching it at all. Its as cheap as its host.

I took the opportunity to point out what not to do (free hand a Russel viper, milk it repeatedly for no-reason other than show, and snake hunting in bare feet-DOH). It still beat watching two politicians blowiate in some made for T.V. "debate".
Could it be that a lot of what we Americans see as unneccessary bravado is a small clash of cultures?

Did you ever get a pic of that anery ringneck snake you found?

lol oh gosh that was harsh. I enjoyed the show myself. Dont you think sadly they all get into that bravado and annoy the animals?
Lia
I saw it found it was good.I like croc hunter to tho dont watch it when its crocs. I have had enough of crocs lol. I guess tho they dont call him croc hunter for nothing.
My friend went to his zoo year ago when she was in Australia she said it was amazing.
The animals were in great enclosures all very healthy and the snake enclosures were incredible ofcourse tons of Croc enclosures to lol.
The pythons in last night show were impressive.

As long as they don't physically damage the snake I'm not too concerned about "stressing" the animal for show. The same goes for people who criticize weathermen who stand out in the hurricanes and call them fools. More power to them! If people want to risk their lives for money or entertainment, so be it. I will tune in and enjoy myself. I realize you can be too far either way on some of these arguments. I have a friend who freaks out that his ball python will get too "stressed out" if he holds it too long, and I silently, but amusedly disagree. The thing just sits there motionless wrapped around his arm enjoying the warmth! Another person I know thinks it is OK to grab rattlesnakes roughly with homemade tongs while they thrash about, and I have chastized him for that.
