TODAY I FED MY LEO MEAL WORMS.. HE IS SUCH A BABY.. IVE HAD HIM FOR 3 YEARS NOW... I JUST FEED CRICKETS USUALLY.. IS IT NORMAL THAT HE IS HAND FED? IS IT NORMAL FOR HIM TO LIKE LOOK AT THE MEAL WORMS AND WATCH THEM FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES B4 HE ACTUAL EATS ONE>? PLEASE GET BACK TO ME..

and yes its ok for it to eat mealies thats all i feed my leos and all leos are different mine eats right away as soon as i put the bowl in.

could i buy another leo and put it in the tank with her?

Quarentin for 2 months in a seperate tank and make sure its not a male or youll gets eggs.

how would i tell if its a male or female i know mines is female cuz the breeder told me but i dont know how a male would look.. do u have pictures showing the difference between a male and female?

males have bulges by the tale in a v shape

It might my female has little bulges but i know shes a females cus shes laid eggs .

i know some female reptiles lay unfertilized eggs.. in the 3 years ive had her she has never=x.. is dat sign?

My first leo of 9 years never laid and eggs and shes a female

How big is your tank?. Also even with 2 females you should be prepared to house the seperate if they don't get along so you should consider if you have money and space for two set-ups if it becomes necessary. Also make sure they are close to the same size as a big size difference can create problems, like one of them misteriously dissapearing and the other having an extra large fecal the next day. I don't want to discourage you, just prepare you, just in case. Good luck with your baby

Um in your first post you refered to your leo as "he" when you asked questions, where you talking about another leo?

Anyways theres some website out there that shows pictures of the underside of leos just Google it and you'll find it, if you're still not sure, try to take a pic and post it here and most of us will be able to tell you if its male or female

If you can clearly see a seies of dots forming a "V" just above the buldges, you definatly have a male

Well i'll be posting a pic of my leo's private part real soon=x so you guys can all tell me his/ her sex.... thank you all for your responses....
