Im doing a project and i cant figure out their official title
Most qualified physicians from any general medical field or facility can at least treat snake bites in a general manner, in terms of systemic support and administration of antivenin, maybe more commonly with assistance from a toxicalologist or specialist, poison control center staff. In my father's case, when he was treated for a rattlesnake bite, the hospital staff treated him, but the care was overseen by the regional toxicologist.
Dr. Sean Bush probably has one of the most famous reputations as a doctor who treats or oversees snake envenomations, and his title is simply Sean Bush, MD, FACEP.

The official title would be a MD with a specialty in toxinology. This is what I am studying to be, and I am pretty sure that this is what it is officially called. Bush was actually a emergency room general doctor who became a specialist when he saw so many bites, and wrote a paper on all these bites. As of right now, there is not technical title, such as another acronym, but what i stated at the top is probably the best title, at least that i could find.

Hi:
Well good question. There probally no real title in the true sense. They may have different certifications & specialties as mentioned already "FACEP" Fellow American College of Emergency Physicians. Three other specialities that come to mind that would be useful in treating snakebites are Hemotologists, Toxlicologists and Neurologists I certainly would not want a Surgeon to treat me.
Hope this helps,
Al
would be a fasciotomyologist....lol
