hmm what are the options for feeding the ill

lucyleo Jun 27, 2003 05:49 PM

Yes i understand feeding my leo super worms through a syringe is ok, as i am doing now. And i understand that waxworms are good too. Thats why i ordered some for my leo. But what else is good to feed while they are weak and battling sicknesses?...

Will help keep up its strength. I highly suggest a bug slurry once a week, it'll help keep her protein levels up.

A bug slurry is a formula created with mealies, crickets, supers, and waxworms (and any other feeder insect you may have) combined with a bit of vitamin/mineral supplement and a small amount of vanilla or strawberry ensure. Just put all these things in a blender on set on puree. You can feed the leo it through a syringe. If she likes this mix, I would leave out the ensure except for maybe once a week.
