I just found them. I've been a very satisfied Neodesha cage user for at least 12 years and now I can continue.

Now the shipping charges are additional.
I didn't know this when I first heard the news, but now it's going to be quite expensive to get the larger size cages. This is a major drawback. Neodesha used to include shipping in the price.
Also, it may be that their cage prices themselves have risen as well, even without the shipping costs.
I'm not as excited.

They're not opening back up if that's what you mean. They've been trying to sell off their remaining stuff for almost a year now and it looks like they just ran into a bunch more stuff to add to their list (which was getting pretty small). Unfortunately I believe they are done. I remember 10 years ago when I first got into this addiction/hobby/business, they were the forerunners on caging and produced an incredible (albeit expensive) product until the day production stopped.
Thanks,
Jason @ Jason's Jungle
Yes, Bush Herp has been selling off items, but Neodesha Plastics is claiming to have started production on new cages, with the caging distribution and sales handled by someone else. This doesn't seem like a sell-off of old stock, unless I am mistaken. I've ordered one already.

Check out their new website. Neodeshacages is now in Florida and has started manufacturing. New place, new people. They are back in business. This has nothing to do with the few remaining items that Bush Herp is selling now.

go out of business in the first place?
Hello,
I am one of the new owners of Neodesha Cages,LLC. My name is Jeremy Bednarsh. We just bought the Cage portion of the business from Ted Pietz at Neodesha Plastics. We will continue to work with Ted in the maufacturing of the cages. Ted is an amazingly awsome person to deal with and we look forward to continuing building the best cages on the market with Teds help. Ted is a very busy guy with a large plastic manufacturing business and just doesnt have time to devote with the cage portion at this time. We as the new company and Ted are dedicated to meeting the needs of the descriminating herptoculturest. I myself am a keeper of Hots and lots of other snakes will help make sure that all of your needs are met. I hope I cleared the air in dispelling a myths as to whats going on.
Regards,
Jeremy Bednarsh

Jeremy,
Thanks for the update and good luck! As long as you can produce the quality that the original units had, you shouldn't have a problem in the market, everybody loves the Neodesha stuff.
Sorry for the incorrect info all, for some reason I was thinking more of Bush Herp rather than Neodesha...

Hi Jeremy –
Do you have any plans to add sweater box style racks to your product line? And how about an incubator?
Thanks,
Joan
