Does any one use KANE heat Mats??

I was wondering how you like/dislike them.....ease of use...ect. thanks

Yes. As a matter of fact, I have four of the older, red
fiberglass Kane heat pads that I've been using for over ten
years mounted under the floors of some furniture-quality cages.
I use them in these particular applications (in conjunction with
some plug-in rheostats) as "hotspots." I've also used some of
the older, orange Stanfield (Osborne Industries) heat pads in
similar applications over the same period. Both have functioned
well in this role. I have no complaints with either brand and
wouldn't necessarily recommend one over the other, although the
Stanfield pads do seem to be a bit more smoothly finished.
