My pythons like to tunnel, is this normal?

johnnystacks Oct 06, 2004 03:03 PM

I've got a few pythons and since I have changed the bedding from bark to aspen they love to tunnel in it. I started out creating a few tunnels for them but now they're going crazy and creating their own tunneling system. Has anyone else seen this behavior in Ball Pythons?

Its normal, especially with ball pythons.

I've never seen anything on them tunneling. If it's normal then I'm definitely going to provide them with a larger cage and more tunneling areas. If you have any links to info on it, I"d love to read it. Thanks!
