Hey all! Need some advice...

MacArthur Oct 06, 2004 04:37 PM

ON friday, I am taking my crestie, Bandit into my wildlife class and then to my science class. I will be transporting him in a kritter keeper. He is coming home with me at the end of the day and shouldn't be in school for more than 2 hours. Is there anything I can do while I'm holding him to keep him as least stress as possible? If you have any other tips please say so. Thanks,

Grant

Keep some damp paper towel in with him and try to keep the temps as steady as possible. If it is likely to be noisy you might want to put the kritter keeper into a larger cardboard box. Remember that he wants to sleep during the day.

yea, and depending on the temperament of your gecko, i would be careful letting students get to close. people inexperienced with reptile tend to be really jumpy around them, and vice versa, and it would be awful if someone freaked out if your gecko jumped away and stepped on him.
