ROUGH GREEN SNAKE!!!

stripeyracer4 Oct 06, 2004 05:07 PM

I just got a rough green snake 4 days ago. So far all he has been doing is hiding in his house. Is there anything I can do to bring him out? Also I have tried to feed him 3 different crickets with no luck.

Is there any rough green experts out there with suggestions?

you've only had him three days. imagine some aliens took you and put you in a big tank in their bedroom. you wanna eat? you wanna come out of your cave and let these monsters look at you? well this is essentially what the snake is going through. what is your setup? hot/cold side (temps), hides, substrate, etc. give him time. id let him sit there for a good 4-5 days and DO NOT HANDLE HIM. let him get used to his new tank and then he should eat.
