I used to have a fbt and he lived for like 5 years with me and passed away for some reason. 
I was wondering if firebelly toads and firebelly newts could be housed together. just a thought incase i buy another tank and get the fbt's.

I am almost positive that is okay. Just make sure they all get something to eat or you might find one missing.

its always best not to, but i have seen it done many times.
i would recommend against it, especially since 10 gallon tanks are 9$ at wal mart. its too easy to just get another tank

don;t mix them. FBTs are way more aggressive eaters than FBNs and their skin toxins are much more potent to other animals. i'd just go with the 9$ 10 gallon if you want the newts

I have one newt in with my FBTs and my friend has 2 FBT and 2 FBN in her tank.. niether of us have had any problems as of yet... but hypothetically... the frogs could eat or bite limbs off of the newts. Use your own judgement and watch them closely if you decide its something that you really want to do.
