This one is my KY locale female black king snake....

And this one is my KY locale prairie king....

And this one is my female cal king. She is a coastal phase, but probably has some high yellow in her bloodline. Hope she gets as big as my male!!

I like the calligaster best

Nice looking snakes. That calligaster is gorgeous, alot cleaner/brighter looking then alot of the ones I have seen pics of from that area. Cool stuff.

The prairie king is from a Todd county female that was gravid and nursed back to health from a broken jaw. She laid eggs while being "hospitalized" and this one came from that clutch. I assume he will darken up with age, as that is the norm for the kings here. They get a gun metal grey overtone to them that I actually really like. He is only a year old and has really put on the size this summer.

The pictures you all posted are very nice, I really enjoy the prairie kings! One of my favorite kings! Underrated in my opinion.
