does any one know anything about bob harding line tiger boas? porven unprove what local they etc...

Glades Herps has been known to sell Honduran mainlands as Tiger Boas purchased from Harding.Dyer sells them as Dwarfs and acouple people have sold the Roatan/mainland cross as Firebellies.its possible the cross`s were also sold as Tiger Boas thru GH ??(unconfirmed)

thanks for the info you wouldnt know why gh only charge 175 and why some others wnat ten times that price for tigers do you?

They may be just tiger looking and when I have contacted GH myself about them they said they had some super tigers but never have them for sale or any pictures to back it up, so in other words a True Tiger BOa orriginated here at Boa's Ark c.b.r. from a pair of imported Hondurans that were tiger looking at the time no name was given, when I bred the two together I got out of 15 babies 5 were super tigers and the rest were all more aberant then the parents , making them better looking tigers.

I have spent the last 4 years proving what I had suspected and that was that it was genetic and codominant. I have had several breedings of normal Hondurans bred to tiger Hondurans and the litters were almost equal in aberrancies, some looked better than others, but the less Tiger looking produced less tiger amount of babies. All the littermates look a little odd to say the least ,non are normal looking at all.

This year will be the end to all my studies and breedings to prove this gene is what I claim it to be, Genetic and Codominant with dominant possablilities. I will breed tigers to tigers again, super tigers to normal or albino, hypo and ghost line of Colombians to really make some cool looking boa's.

I do beleive the Tigers from GH may be genetic but I do not know how they determined that by looks or genetic breeding but as far as the name Tiger Boas go it started here and many have tried to jump on it with aberrant looking boas, but remember this if a Tiger is a Tiger you will get Super Tigers from a paired Tiger Breeding, if the breeder who is claiming to have tigers ask for the proof and history of that proof and you may not find anyone with as much as I have done in the ast 4 years to prove it with 100% certanty.

I am currently working on a website www.tigerboas.com that will explain the orrigin, the breeding trials, the many proven and unproven localities that I am working with it should be ready in Jan 05.
