FBTs strange behavior?

mn9796 Oct 06, 2004 11:37 PM

I think I have mentioned this before but I got a picture this time. Every now and then I catch my fbts doing something that resembles wrestling. They actually stand on hind legs and embrace belly to belly then fall over and roll around in the water. It is so strange. I am not sure about the sex of the toads, I think they are both male-they both call all day and try to mount each other. Anyway, I have a pic, but I had to enlarge it, so it is really fuzzy. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

if they both call they are both males. wrestling is how frogs and toads fight for territory. its better to have 1 male and a few females.

LoL. Mine do that too.. both males... usually happens when they are both trying to mount each other. I have never had any injuries, and they both seem to be happy together. I don't think it a problem, and I , personally find it entertaining. Best of luck with your little guys. =)
