Does anyone know if butterworms are any good for Beardies?
Beautifuldragons.com doesn't have the cah ratio for them but says they have twice as much calcium as other worms (which i've also found from other sites)

I was thinking about trying them out but was wondering if anyone else had any experience with them?

Everything I have read about butterworms is they are great for bearded dragons, topping even silkworms. Though I haven't tried them with my dragon yet, I certainly would offer them if I was able to afford the extra cost.

Thanks that's just what i was hoping to hear

I found a website here in canada that's selling them for about 20 cents apiece which is actually alot cheaper than pet store silkies(.50 ea) and crix(.15 ea) so i'm just going to order some online

All I can tell you is my beardeds loved them.
The worms themselves were not my expense problem.
It was the postage to get them to me. More than double
the cost of the worms.
Since most of the worm distributors are on the east
side of the states and I am on the west.

If I could find a west coast distributor.
I would buy more.

Note: I would like to know more about these
worms. aka/like: gutloading. I know they keep them
in the frig. But keeping them there does not
gut load them. Only makes them dormant. If I warmed them
up, what could I feed them to gutload?
