Pics of Neonates & Parents.....and Identification Questions....Dial-up warning

pacaman Oct 07, 2004 12:58 PM

Hi All,

Pics & info about the Parents:

Ok.......first pics of Tango who I got from Norm Damm.
He is out of a Normal Okeetee(het Amel) x Creamsicle.

Next up is my Normal Aztec, Tequila. I got her from Sam Mandoles. She is out of a male Striped Ghost x female high contrast red & white Amel.
Maternal grandparents: Green Blotch Snow x Reverse Okeetee Amel.

Now pics of the snakelings....first up is the ornery Amel that wouldn't eat for the first 4 weeks, but who finally did last week in no small part due to advice & encouragement from Draybar on this forum......thanks Jimmy. I suspect that this guy is a Motley due to his patternless belly, but you tell me..what do you think?

Next is what I first thought to be an Anery(ghost)but now believe to be a Normal..Miami phase?...very grey background color...what do you think?

Here are a couple of pics of all 3 snakelings together:

I'll leave you with a pic of Tango saying Happy Halloween..........

And lastly, thanks for looking and your comments.

David

nice snakes! the first one looks like mine, im not sure what kind she is, she was sold as a creamsicle but im thinking more along the lines of amel/sunglow or something..she has very vibrant orange and deep red saddles, with just a tiny white border ill try to get some clear pics of just her, here is a pic of her and my normal

Yeah, Norm & Sam do have some nice stock to work with, but then they've been at it for 20 years or so. It's nice to have folks like that as a resource too, but I really like this forum as well. Care to take a shot at answering the questions I posed in my post?

Thanks,

D

Hi, sorry for the question if it seems stupid, but did you say that the maternal grandparents were a snow and an amel okeetee (reverse okeetee), and that the mother was a normal aztec? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but if those were the grandparents, then wouldn't the mother also be an amel of some sort?

Sorry, I did'nt make it clear........these are the mother's maternal grandparents. They produced the high contrast red & white Amel that bred to a Striped Ghost, in turn, produced my Aztec Normal, Tequila. Get's a little confusing.......
