I have read all the care/breeding postings, but still have questions. We found two Allies within a couple of weeks of each other in the same area. The first, "Crush" I think is female (slender head)from tip to tail about 12 inches long, very pretty rather calm. The second "Squirt" is much smaller(younger?)and I'm not really sure if M or F, & a bit of a spaz, very skitish. After a few weeks together, Crush is eating a lot and had become rather plump in the midsection, she is also more aggressive than before. Squirt is still slender, we were actually concerned and started feeding them separately - wasn't sure they were each getting enough.
Is it ok to put enough to feed them together? If she is pregnant, should I separate them? Do I just let her do her thing and then separate the eggs? Is it ok to leave them alone, period, just continue care and maintenace as I have been.
I'm just not sure what the steps should be to care for a pregnant lizard or what to do about the other one.
Thanks for any advice!
