Croc enclosure.

Hi,
I have been to Staten Island Zoo, and when I visited there a few years back, this enclosure had an enormous very old/emaciated V. salvator there; the enclosure could use some flora to give them some security and hide spots, and not so open to the public - I guess it shows knowledge/lack there-of of these animals basic requirements. They do have some space and that says something!
It is a beautiful, 'old' zoo, and the had some fun tours behind the scenes there! Remember the monkey and Martial Eagle John! hahahaha
Cheers,
mbayless

or is it just the man made cement and epoxy tree, inside of a cage with a cement epoxy floor?
Wonder if they have bed sores on their feet.
Pretty sad when they forgo a solid cage (whats inside) for what looks good (seeing the monitors = dollars).
that stinks,
andrew
Poor guys, might as well be living on the streets of staten island.
I like the Streets of Staten Island = they remind of what the streets of Berkeley used to be = clean, nice people, and just a bridge away from 'the city'....Some damn nice people there!
cheers,
mbayless
Sounds like those crocs would be better off on the streets of staten island Ha! Might have to go there myself. Peace.
