can an argentine b&w be housed with a red

the b&w is a month old an im planing on geting about the same age red. they would be in a 3ft x 2ft x 1ft cage. and if not can a baby red be housed in a 20 long untill i get a biger cage ( about 2 weeks)

They can be housed together in that size tank but realize they will both grow very fast and you will soon have to have them in a tank that is no less than 3 wide 3 tall and at least 8 long. Two tegus will need room to move but the tank you have now should work for a few weeks maybe even a few months depending on thier growth rate. Good luck to you. In the pic attatched is my arg B&W, blue tegu, and a red they are all housed together in a 4 wide 4 tall 8 long tank . Enjoy and good luck.
