quick question, only take like 2 minutes. thanx

ok im building a set of cages that will be like a dresser but smaller. The cages will be one on top of the other with doors on the one side and a full sheet of plexiglass on the front. The size of the entire piece is 2ftD X 2ftW X 4ftT. That makes each indivual cage 2ft X 2ft X 1FT. is this size ok. I found a program and put the dementions in and it said it would be around 29 gallons. What do you think, should i adjust the height to be a little taller.

thanx RV

29 gallons is fine for a corn, but longer is better than taller. Corns, though semi-arboreal, are much more at home on the ground. Young corns climb to try to escape, but older corns prefer enclosures wherein they can stretch a bit.

My corns are in racks, and they only have about 7 inches of head room. But, because they move freely about, they are thriving in every way!

Hope that helps a bit...
