Pastel vs. Blonde Pastel vs. Jungle Pastel : I'm Confused!!

snakewrangler69 Oct 07, 2004 03:34 PM

Can anyone or everyone help clarify the differences between these 3 types of ball python morphs ? I'm wondering if the market is being manipulated or if there is truly a difference.

Well, the pastel jungle as it was first called is often just called pastel now. The jungle is a different animal than the pastel or pastel jungle. The jungle in and of itself doesnt seem to be passed on from parents to offspring.

Pastel jungles/pastels are genetic and passed on to the offspring.

The Blonde Pastel, is the same as the pastel and the pastel jungle, just different names for the same snake. Now the difference in blonde pastel and regular pastel is just its a different bloodline. They CAN and usually do retain a more brighter color than other bloodlines of pastels and usually cost a bit more.

So, just think of it as different bloodlines of the same snake/mutation. SOme cost more than others.

Does that help?

Not a pastel ball, but more yellow!!
