A day out with mom.... (photo)

... well, a few minutes anyway.

F1 Caulker Cay female at age 4 with 2 month-old baby. I get a few each year with the pale silvery-blue look.

These are simply great boas.. while some babies take extra attention to get over a rowdy disposition all my adults are completely calm. Among the breeder females we have of all localities only the Caulker Cay females can be trusted to not act up or overreact, regardless of their condition.. Marvelous boas, and very pretty too, if you take the time to look.

Some buyers inquire about their anerythristic looks (a couple have come out looking like motleys too) I doubt they are trulty anery, their range of color just takes some time to develop.. but I'm not inbreeding them for that trait.. my focus is to produce each generation as unrelated as possible (with a boa from a small speck of an island).. who knows?

and this is no exception. I seem to gravitate to warm colors and I think these Caulker Cays have a wonderful look. It's good to hear their temperament is mellow as well.
