question on zoo med heat pad

My heat pad on my glass tank is losing some of it's adhesiveness. Would it be safe to place duct tape or electrical tape on the outside of the pad in places where it won't stick. Thank you.

They have a habbit of doing that. I used duct tape and it seems to be working fine. Just keep an eye on the tape after a while it seems to get a little messy. I think its from the glue on the tape. I just remove and replace when that happens. Paul
