It's a thermo lead. One of 3 in the enclosure. Paranoid new GTP parent I have both up/down and left/right gradiants along with a hygrometer in the enclosure. I robbed the enclosure design from Greg Maxwells site, I used his neonate enclosure setup.

keep it up, mine didn't last week, I'm not too concerned as i expect him to eat this week. We'll see though, suposedly mine is captive bred and well established. Looking at his feeding chart, Its not uncommon for him to go a week withot a meal. I will try again tomorrow, as that is my feeding day for my snakes. I will say, I did not handle him/her last week just incase. Keep us poted. Clint

I was concerned because it hadn't eaten in the 3 weeks that I had it. I know it was CB wqhen I got it from LLL but I it is pretty small. The guy offered to sex it for me, but as small as it was I wasn't goin to risk permanently damaging it.

Did you see the parents? Did you see pics of the female on the eggs? What was the price you paid for this CBB from LLL? Just curious.

Brandon, he said they were cb from LLL... I live very close to LLL and have seen their snakes regularly. The chondro babies are cb.... in Indonesia breeding farm by Bushmaster.

I'm not "fond" of brokering, or middleman sales etc.... but do have to give LLL credit for maintaining their animals in clean/proper enclosures and good customer service in general. I've only seen a couple animals out of the hundreds I've seen there that I thought were sub-par and shouldn't be offered at all.

If shopping for discount baby and unable to go to the actual breeders I think Bushmaster has about as good a reputation as you can have for imports!!

Best wishes on the new, cute baby!! No matter their source, they are pretty addictive..... hehe
