Starting a baby eating

Anyone with insight for me? I have a baby, not fed yet. How long do your's typically take to start and what have they started on? This on follows a flopping fish like it would take it but then doesn't strike. Just not hungry yet? It is a month old, smallish baby at 42grams.

I had a baby last year that wouldn't eat anything. I started to worry as each week went by. I bought a group of corns and kingsnake babies that were imperfect. One day I tossed a kingsnake in to se what would happen and she immediately attacked and fed. After about 4 hatchlng snakes she took pinks and fuzzies no problem.
So if the other options don't work try a snake.

Thanks, I really had forgotten about that. I have a friend with corns that he has bred. I almost wish he had an imperfect baby now. Wonder is scenting would work? I will ask around for imperfect babies I guess.
It responded really well to flopping fish but never struck, so I got the impression the prey wasn't quite right. She/he is a month old and I'd like to get some food into it.
