How long will it be...

until there is a BCI that is homozygous for albino, anery and hypo? Is there any reasonable expectation as to what that snake will look like, or is it unpredictable right now?

Well, I think there were some possible triple hets a couple years ago, and I know Frank Martin has definite triple hets now. Given that, I would guess we'll see the combination in the next couple years. As far as what it might look like is pretty much anyones guess. Reduce the black(hypo) from a snow and what do you get????? Take away the red pigments from a sunglow and what do you get???? It's fun trying to imagine, but I guess we won't know for sure until it's actually done. Should be another good day for boas when it happens. Take care

An albino/hypo seems rather redundant.

I think it might just look like a snow boa.

no why would the albinism over ride the albino? albino hypos are already being produced ie the sunglows they look nothing like the snows as for the albino ghosts i think they will look like snows or atleast similar enough to them to not make much of a difference the only benifit i see to that breeding is haveing a snow or sunglow that will throw both types when bred together

There has been in the last 3-4 years or so a Suriname albino and I also think a true Guyanan, I saw one of which I speak of in Daytona back in 2001, the snake was by far one of the nicest looking albino forms I have seen, the color was almost lavander but deffinately not the same as the Colombian forms of albinos.

Mike from MNR reptiles knows a lot more about them than I do.

I missread your post the first time, I thaught you were looking for albino BCC. but the tripple hets should have breeding age by this season but until we see babies next year we are still geussing as to what may become.
