Well, I broke down and got another monitor. I just got this guy/gal today. When I got home he/she ate 2 mice seconds after they were put in the cage. The second mouse it took off of tongs. The monitor had been in the cage a half day already and was basking when I first walked into the room. Now I just need to sell my Timor to free up my 3rd cage so I can get one more Argus for a trio. They are too cool.

The Argus is shedding and probably hasn't had the best husbandry. I hope to get it healthier with better care.

Agrus montior are very cool!

I can't get another till I figure out what sex my argus is. My wife said I can only get one more and I want to try breeding.....long story. No trio for me

I'd almost say you have a male there, but that's not worth alot considering I can't determine my own. How big is this one? Mine is at 2ft give or take.

My wife is a nut. She likes animals as well as I do. She would let me have herps and any other animals in every room of the house. I am lucky to be married to her. I am the one that says we have to limit the animals we have.

This one looks to be close to 30 inches long. My other one is only about 25/26 inches long.
