Looks a little like this guy I hatched a couple of years ago. I hatched another one this year. I think they are caused by stressed eggs and will not prove to be genetic. At least so far the classic jungle has not proven genetic and neither have the labyrinths that I know of. Of course everyone used to think the dorsal stripes weren’t genetic and now it looks like there might be a couple moderately reproducible examples so you have to breed everything odd just in case it's the first genetic one.
The one I hatched this year is completely unrelated but it's a girl so I'll probably breed them together eventually ... just in case ...
His web page with pics at different ages
Can you post abelly shot?
I've got a busy weekend and it will probably be Monday before I can get a pic and find a place to upload it.
My two girls have mostly white bellies but the male pictured has some rather faded dark checks on an oddly creamy white colored belly.
Here is a page with a belly pic of the 2002 female I produced. I'm wimping out on the idea that she might be het clown some how and am loaning her out to breed to a 100% chance het SK line genetic stripe to hopefully produce some nice outbred stripes (she is a great granddaughter of Bob Clark’s imported striped male).
Sorry, jumped the gun on posting ...
2002 cb classic jungleish girl
.
I don't see the gold eyes typical of the classic jungle, so I would call it a labyrinth.
Very nice!
