My friend was given two iguanas and one of them has a noticable head shimmy,what can cause this?She is convinced its MBD but I don't see any symptoms of that.Thanks for any advice.

Could you explain what a head shimmy is? I am not familiar with that term? Thank you!

his head shakes back and forth,kinda wobbly like.

Does it do that all the time? Or is it more like he's bobbing and in control of the shimmy?
If it's happening all the time, then your friend needs to get that Ig to the vet ASAP to find out what's wrong - it could be any number of things. If it looks like the Ig is in control of the shimmy, and does it only ocassionally, then it is more than likely bobbing at his new owner - however, if in doubt, get him to the vet!
