Beardie and Water

Hi I was just wondering since I put water on Greens do I still have to offer them water seperatley? thank you for you help bye

Erm, It's reccomended.. But still, similar to Uromastyx.. Bearded Dragons get a lot of water from their diet, Most people have a still water bowl with their beardeds or mist them daily coupled with weekly soakings.. Not sure how effective Water on greens would be, try offering a water bowl or put them in the sink with running water and see their reaction.. if they drink deeply I can imagine he's not getting enough water normally (Not completely sure, my male loves long soaks and drinks regardless)

I have heard lots of different opinions on wether or not Beardies need a seperate water dish or if they get all their water from their greens. I always keep a water dish in my Beardies enclosures because i'd rather be safe than sorry. All of my beardies routinely drink from their dishes. I also read a study that showed the percentage of beardies who get kidney problems later in life is much larger for beardies that didnt have access to fresh water.
