Nuu Ana Leachianus

DerekMoynihan Oct 08, 2004 10:56 PM

Well I finally broke down and got a pair of leachies. I had been thinking about it for quite awhile so when the opportunity came up to get this adult pair from a reputable breeder, I took advantage of it. I know Nuu Anas are supposed to be the smallest form so I was kind of surprised at their size. I thought they would only be slightly larger than my adult Pine Isl. chahuoa, but they are quite a bit longer (SVL) and heavier. Also, I was told that their patterns would develop a little more contrast as they age. Anyone have any pics of adult Nuu Anas?

Derek-

Your Ana's are beautiful. I have an adult pair and they are my favorites so far of all the leachianus I have. My male Ana weighs 128 grams and my female is at 115. They are still growing.

Here is the male-

The female-
