Hey Bloods, head shot of Negrita, Black blood python.

googo151 Oct 09, 2004 12:11 AM

Hey bloods,
This is Negrita, a 2003 Jeff Hartwig, black blood female. She is lovelier than ever, and getting better looking with every shed. She is one big chow hound and growing like weeds. Just thought I would use her for a test shot online as I just got my new digital camera. If you are wondering what I got, it is the new Fuji Finepix S5100, 4.1 mp camera, with a 10x digital zoom lens. I think it's an awesome camera for the price and it's function.

Nothing like a nice camera to show off a really nice snake. I have a nice camera, but need to take a class to learn how to take better pictures. Looks like you will be having some really hot black bloods in the near future. Lovely animal

Hey Greenman,
Thanks for the compliment on this girl. She comes from some pretty nice stock (Jeff Hartwig), and should produce some nice babies of her own some day. Her bro, whose in shed at the moment is just as nice. I have one other male (not here yet, 2004) at the moment with Jeff, that is in his early stages of feeding, and establishing.

Just for fun, here is a strange but pretty face of one of my female black bloods. Not anything like my super blacks, but I love her off color, pink tongue and strange eyes. Anyway, best of luck with your blacks this year, hope you do really good so I can buy a pair Sorry about the size, I thought it was small.

Hey,
Outstanding! but why did you have to go and make that poor little snake cry! She didn't want to be photographed is that it? LOL! Awesome picture. What are you shooting with?

Yes, she always cries when I make her pose for the camera. I have a Sony 10x digital zoom, 5.0 mega pixels. I am not sure if it has another name, but thats what is says on the camera. I think it could take great pictures if I read the book or had someone show me how to use all the things on it. One day after my son gets older and I have time to read again, I just might read the book. Too bad you live so far away, I would love to check out your snake room. Later, Jody

Hey Bob,
Thanks for the compliment too, she is going to be a screamer, when she's all grown up; not that she isn't already. I just love them all grown up and big and fat!
What's up with your big girls and boys over in the UK?

not much at the moment... but hopefully things will start to get busy in the next few months... my female brongersmai is feeding very well at the moment but i think she is still far too small for breeding... meantime her other half is ready for action! but i cant find anyone near by with a spare female that i can get as a loan. i have a new male for my black blood he is a lot older than my male so i hope they are compatible... as for the borneo i think i'll have to use another male as the male i'm waiting on from the US is still stuck due to the export permits taking forever to get processed.

i'll get some pis posted soon
regards

bob

Hey Bloods,
Here are some other pictures I just shot. I think the results are pretty good. I was hoping to get even closer with the camera, but don't think that the macro setting, allows me to get closer. Either way, not bad. Also, first shot was shot using only the available light in the herp room. (window-light). The other, was shot using the cameras built in flash.

Hey J,
Thanks bro, they are coming around and turning into some screamers no doubt. I think that by next year, they are going to be huge little black bloods, but not yet ready for breeding. Just would be great when they are though. Did you get in on the Jeff clutch this year?

Angel,

LOL, dont you think you would know by now if I picked up some blacks! I "unfortunately" ran across... 5 Borneos this summer that I couldn't say no to, so I will have to wait a bit on some blacks. All your stuff that you've gotten from Jeff looks killer tho! He'll be second on my list when I get the funds and space for some.
