Handling my beardie

longday29 Oct 09, 2004 06:21 AM

My beardie (Buddah) is approx. 2 months old, and has been living with me for 12 days now. He seems quite content in his new environment, but I'm concerned with causing him too much stress by taking him from his cage and holding him. He tends to freak out when I try to pick him up, and the last thing I want to do is erase the progress he has made.

How often should I handle him? Any tips on how to build trust with a dragon?

Other questions:

Is Repti-Sand the same as Calci-Sand?

Buddha is mostly green right now; will his colors change as he becomes an adult?

Thanks for the help/info!

BS
