when is the freedom cite coming back up, anyone know?

Any comparisons b/t this and Jason's Jungle? I think i've narrowed it down to these two. Any other options (I considered boaphile, I don't want them)?

Why dont you want Boaphile? They are the best racks IMO.

The regular non 'ball rack room' ones that he offers are too short for my liking (3-4". The ball specific ones are more costly than Jason's Jungle, by a lot.

After you pay shipping, it may not be too much different in price, plus with Boaphile RhinoRaxx you get belly heat, which is much better IMO.

Thank's for your persistance. I will agree about the price equalling out (especially in the case of the 41qt tubs). As for belly heat, I hadn't even noticed! But I'm so glad you pointed it out to me because that was something that I really didn't like about Jason's Jungle. Well, what i'd really like is freedom breeder but since i'm not a big guy yet, i think that when I buy my racks, they will be boaphile.

Any other pros and cons that you all have noticed would be greatly appreciated.

Also, a couple more questions:

Where are the air holes?

Since you use your own thermostat, is the a hole (obvously I can just drill my own) to put the probe? Any ideas on probe placement that won't be disturbed by the animal? My male insists on laying on the probe or moving it around. I taped it to the newspaper, but then I have to mess with it every time I clean.

You will have to put your own holes in the boxes. The probe will fit right in where the cord for the Flexwatt comes out & I just put the probe of the thermostat between the heat tape & the side of the rack (the probe is not in the tub). I can't find anything to complain about with the RhinoRaxx.

I've heard that Jason's Jungle racks are great, but I would never buy another rack with back heat again (it just doesn't work as well IMO).

Hi there my name is Paul a freind of mine just developed a new rack it is a open air rack like the freedom breeder but it is adjustable it can take three differnt size tubs.He has the tubs manufactured just for his rack I belive his racks are the only ones that have there own tubs so you will never have to worry about tubs being discontinued. He lives about 5 minutes from me so I have had a chance to see these from start to finish and I am impressed. He is set up at tinley with the racks but here is his site so you can check them out I am not sure if the pics of the full rack are up yet but if there not they will be real soon. They are really worth takeing a look at before you make your purchase here is the link http://www.trueimagereptiles.com/

Thanks again Paul

Have you considered Animal Plastics? Much more cost effective. Also provide belly heat.
