Ok so most of you might already know from a post I made that my mali Ares has a scrape on the back of his last toe on his back left foot.

Well it has sand in it and now that toe is going over top the toe in front of it.

I think it might be broken and I don't know what to do and I don't have enough money to go to the vet right now.

If you need a pic that's not a problem I'll go take one.

Oh and if you can tell me if Mali's get seperation anxiety or will get depressed if seperated from a roommate they've lived with for 2 years that'd be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

First: Once you have taken responsibility for another living creature, you will incur an inherent financial responsibility for it's well-being.

Clean up with scrape or whatever the injury is. Try a betadine water soak. Get it off sand for the time being. Apply a topical antibiotic....NOT ONE WITH A PAIN RELIEVER---TOXIC. We use an over the counter triple antibiotic.

If the injury is more than a couple of days old, going to do more harm than good trying to straighten it out. The lizard will adapt. Should have been taken care of as soon as you first saw it.

I was trying to post this yesterday, but it seems my freakin brother is having a love affair with this computer and cannot stop playing warcraft even if the house was on fire.

Anyways I soaked his foot yesterday and the sand came off.....along with some poop.

What must have happened was he did a #2 then backed up over it and it stuck to his toe and the sand stuck to the fresh poop.

The scrape is gone and there are new scales over where it used to be.

Maybe I should've soaked his foot before I posted.

Glad to hear he is fine!

Warcraft can be addictive. You may be able to find "How to tell if a loved one is a warcraft addict" websites on the net. There are a bunch for EQ. I used them as an "intervention tactic" for an ex boyfriend of mine. Silly computer games.

That might help.

But I figure if I just break the discs in half, then they won't be able to play them, or if I scratch them or flush them in the toilet (the water will scratch them to pieces )
