bird cage for Panther Cham?

ejtchr Oct 09, 2004 12:54 PM

I've been given a large bird cage, two actually stacked one on top of the other, and want to know if I should consider using it to house my Panther and Vieled chams? Bar spacng is less than an inch. I have screen cages but very flimsy and the frames get bent from the weight of the lights and heat emitters. One concern is that the cham in the bottom cage would not feel secure being that low and close to the floor.
What about eating crickets and worms from a cup? The health and happiness of my animals is my main concern. Thanks for any information.

I think it would work well, as long as the cham can't fit it's head through the bars. My cham cup feeds, and is very healthy and happy. To keep her/him "on his/her toes" you can change the location of the cup or use more than one.
