If you go to the other site you will find a thread on how to set up an account for shipping snakes through Fed-Ex, As for UPS you can contact them to set up a live animals account with no problem but they say they don't allow snake shipments even though it is not written in their policy any longer that snakes are not allowed to be shipped.

Rob is dead on.
I have a FedEx account with a waiver that allows me to ship my snakes with absolutely no insurance or recourse if something happens to the package. You have to jump through some hoops but it's not too tough to set up.
UPS is an firm and positive NO on snakes. I have talked to many, many people.
One of my contacts is the local security supervisor. I had a package arrive the other day (a yearling Albino and a yearling Pastel) and it got me thinking about seeing if their policy had changed. I called her and the first thing she asked was if I was "calling about the snakes in the system that day". "One of them is an albino-something" she said.
It's not like they don't know it's happening. I got caught shipping a snake UPS because they opened the package. They obviously opened the package that was shipped to me the other day.
We do FedEx up to a value of $250 and anything more valuable has to go Delta or we do not guarantee live arrival.
Funny how none of the companies up here in PA know about this. I'll have to look into it again.
Thanks
