okay guys, im having alll these mixed feelings here. Yes, i do beleive that the vet prescribed stuff that was unnesesary (like ditrim, the InterMuscular med) and stuff. I realllllly dont want to overdose my drags, i want to do whats best for him. Personally, i want to go with whatever you guys say here. My vet isnt the best, according to me. Yeah they know a lot and stuff, but i trust you guys more. The vet office has switched me to 3 different vets working there, and its hard...yeah. Well the yellow fungus im really worried about, because she prescribed the topical solution for her, but i dont want to accelerate the yellow fungus if it is there, but on the other hand i dont want to NOT treat the infected cut. AAAHHH so confused. I dont know what to do. Ill keep giving the dragons the panacur, thats for sure. But what about the ditrim? and the topical? thanks so much guys... also- i already gave all of them their doses for today, bvecause i never checked the forum until just now. Well thanks

im not a vet, and cant really help you much here, i would go back and speak to your vet and let him know your concerns. I think the panacur is fine but i would go for something like albon for the coccidia. Go back to your vet, talk to him, if he will not help you get a second opinion. If you dont feel comfortable with the meds, dont administer them, do get a second opinion....thats really all i can help you, its what i would do and what i have done many time with my horses, got a second opinion, or several opinions until i was comfortable.

If you read any of the Yahoo list post or any other articles on treating fungus, you will see that is one of the most recommended things to first use on the scales/skin to debrief it.

This will not harm the dragon. Be prepared though, you may see more scales loss and angry red tissue underneathe when you use it, but its scales and tissue that already were dead to begin with
