Salmon Jungle yearling....first time pics

LindaH Oct 09, 2004 07:46 PM

This is a yearling Salmon Jungle female that was produced by Jeremy Stone. I got her early last summer to breed (hopefully someday) to my Jungle male. She has the neatest orange eyes. They are much more colorful than they look here. My flash messed up the color. That's what happens when one's skill level is point and click I am really pleased with her looks, sweet temperament and hearty appetite. She is starting to get some great pink coloring coming in on her sides as well. Thanks for looking

Linda, All of your boas are the best! Even though I rarely comment on any boas other than Nicaraguans, I think all boas have beauty. However yours are exceptional! Don't get down on yourself about the pics. I think they are great, much better than mine. We all can't be a C.E. or Celia Chien. Keep the photos coming. Chris Ginkel

I look at CE's, Gus's and Celia's pics and just sigh... I'm glad to have theirs to look at.....they just make me feel....so.....inadequate I'll probably be a point and clicker for a long time. Thanks for the kind words about my critters. I do enjoy them.

every time I try to use the manual settings my pics come out all screwy so I don't bother. I think your photos are great ! Take some of the critters outside, and turn off the flash , the pics will got even better.... as always beauitful critters! When you gonna bite the bullet and pickup some true redtails ?

Thank you, Charles. You and Celia set the bar pretty high for some of the rest of us. My biggest problem is lighting and I'm always fiddling around with it.....especially on the Ghosts. They are the hardest to get the color right. My pics never look as nice as the snake looks in front of me and that is very frustrating....oh well.

True Redtails.....they are beautiful, but I've got my hands full as it is, with the boas I have, and the equines.

I really like this guy. I have one female gravid from him and another on the way--fingers crossed. So I guess we will just have to see what kinds of babies pop out. Oh yeah, he is also 50% super salmon. Comments, good, bad or ugly welcome.

Thanks for looking

I have a female that I bought for the same look. I think I remember when Rich produced him. Is he about 2 years old? Let us know how the babies turn out. Thanks, Chris Ginkel

robertmcphee Oct 09, 2004 08:58 PM

I will definitely keep everyone posted on the progression of babies. I am putting him with two very different females to see what kind of offspring he helps produce. This is the first female he was with. She is very light and orange with some neat looking saddles.

you get good with that camera, Linda. If those are bad pics then that boa has GOT to be phenomenal in person. Keep practicing and show us lots of pics of that one, with all that wonderful color.

First time you posted any pics of that one? You should share more often!

Heck, half the time I can't even hold it still enough to get decent focus. It takes good pics in spite of me

Cudos to Jeremy for producing her. You should see the holdbacks from this litter. They are amazing!

I think the Super Jungles are fantastic. If I'm ever lucky enough to produce a litter with some, I'll be on cloud nine.
