Hi Guys
I am looking for recommendations for a vet that is good with chameleons here in Orange or LA county California.

I just recently lost a chameleon because of a vet that was not willing to admit they had little to no experience with chameleons. I do not want to drag this persons name through the mud so I am not going to post the name here. If you live in Orange County and want more details PM me. Basically what started out as what I thought was a routine visit for an irritated eye and some diarrhea turned into bloodwork, amakacin, a prolasped lower GI track and ultimately the passing of a very dear companion? This broke my wife’s and my heart and almost stopped us from looking for another cham. But alas after speaking with the breeder we got this cham from we decided to try again and learn from the last experience. I also could not stand to see the cage dark and I missed the husbandry duties I did nightly (feeding silks and crickets etc).

Any advise on a good vet would be much appreciated.

Dr. Tom Greek in Yorba Linda is supposed to be a good all around reptile vet. He has good expereince with chams is what I've heard. He is in Yorba Linda. I have yet to go take my chams for A checkup which I'm going to soon.
