Well I started cooling my male and then due to a lack of space gave up the idea of breeding him to my two females this season and just put him in with them. I never witnessed a breeding but last week the smaller female struck my boyfriend. Then tonight I opened the cage and she bolted into the living room under my ferrets raised cage. I reached under to pull her out and almost got tagged. We had to use a hook to get her out and back in her enclosure. She is normally very even tempered and calm, I even use her when I'm showing how large ball pythons get to parents with children. She's always been easy to handle and never even hissed. I've been told that this is a good sign she's gravid but since I've never saw a mating I'm unsure. What do you think?
