Well until one of the pros comes in to answer this in-depth, I will suggest what I know about the differences. I think the main one is the vocal sac. Is there a large sac under your little guy's chin that looks like a ballon with a little water in it? If so, it's a male, although you probably would have heard it by now (unless it is in a different room that where you sleep, mine seems to croak more at night).

Also females are larger than males although because of habitat size and feeding habits, size is somewhat relative.

Hope that helps a little bit, one of the seniors will probably be on soon to talk about the frogs feet and other things I have heard about in terms of determining sex. Good luck

Well, I'm hardly a pro, though I'll try to answer. The vocal sac I don't really know anything about, except for that it get's really black on males during mating season and they also call, not always though I think. Males also get nuptial pads on their feet or legs, don't know wich, and I don't really know what they look like to be honest.
And as Needaurita said females become larger than males.

Nupital pads are on forearms and they look like little discs.

ok, but don't they have to be in season to be able to tell? mine is an albino so would it be harder to tell if it is m/f? thnx for all the help

The way I found out that my albino is a male is I heard him call. He doesn't call out for long. It's usually one or two croaks and that will be all. He only calls at night. Wish I could help more.
