Handling

chamsrbest Oct 10, 2004 11:22 AM

Is it alright that my chameleon is open to handling? Every time I stick my hand in his cage he runs right to it and climbs up my arm. is this ok?
Thanks-
Dillon

heck thats better then OK thats gr8

BUT not to put a damper on things but sometimes this action, while it seems to be a like of handling, might just mean then ur cham wants a larger cage (since hes trying to "escape"

but its more likely he might like to be handled

My jackson's does the same thing. I think it is because i feed him from my fingers alot, and also because he usually gets a ride to his favorite house tree! But it is still cool that they actually come to you for any reason!

My veiled doesn't like when I pcik him up, but once he's on me, he wont get off. He loves to climp up my neck and ears onto the top of my head and hang out in my hair. He's a strange one...
