For those, like me, interested in seeing the huge Alligator Snapper, pulled form a Fullerton, California pond it will be on display again.
I received this email form Lynda B. treasurer of the Orange Co. Chapter of CTTC

“Old Bob is scheduled to be at the Fullerton Arboretum's Green Scene II on Saturday and Sunday, October 16, 17.”

As the common snapper is occasionally "turning up" in ponds & canals in the Phx area, Id expect them to be doing likewise by now [if not sooner]in Ca. too....
But Alligators....Thats very interesting, they are very special.
I suspect...their presence is largely of no consequence to native biota...at least I'll hope so!
I also hope someone will post jpgs....

There is a post in the rear-fanged forum by SeanOD, recent, about regal ringnecks, I figured I'd leave it for you to comment on.

lol you didn't even give any info on regals. I replied to his message, check it out at one point. The little regal shed 2 days ago, and ate a shorthead garter a little bit afterwards. I've been talking w/ somebody from AZ that says he sees regals everywhere, I'm attempting to get atleast 1 from him.
