Bark lizard wont eat

komodokameleon Oct 10, 2004 06:44 PM

I recently bought a bark lizard at an Astoria Queens based Petland. I was told the lizard would eat wax worms or baby feeder crickets. I have it set up in a proper cage, proper heatlamps, i have a bath for it, and it wont eat. When i did online research i found out nothing about care for it. Am i feeding the reptile the wrong foods or is there something else going on?

I had never heard of one to be honest. And when I looked for info, I only found this one thing, and did not even know if it was the right lizard.

It did not have much info anyway! It is terrible that who ever sold you that lizard did not give you care instructions.

It must have been wc or sick when he sold it or it would not have perished that quickly!

Whenever you purchase a reptile, on the spur of the moment, at a show whatever, ASK a ton of questions, DON'T buy if they will not give care sheet or be willing to help you after the sale, if you have questions or need info.

Such a shame, again sorry the poor thing had to die!

Here is the ONLY thing I ever found
Bark Lizard
