i purchased my first gecko and he's pretty cool, a "super hypo" with little touch of orange on his tail...
the vendor told me that they feed crickets... having read that you can also feed them mealworms, i picked some up at the show since they were available... well he won't touch the mealworms, but today he munched 6 crickets in about 3 minutes...
is it going to be hard to get him to feed on mealworms? i would prefer not to have to constantly keep crickets on hand, but if i have to, i have to...
also, there was a vendor at the show, a short girl with long pink and black dreads... does anyone know who this girl is? she's gorgeous- and she stopped me as i was on my way out to ask what i had... never occurred to me that she may be from around the area... stupid me! i had already torn my bracelet off when i realized i could have gone back today, not to mention i'm about an hour and 30 minutes away from tinley park... major bummer.
whoops, one more thing... albey's too cool geckos... AMAZING, but 750 dollars for a gecko? some of them were 900 dollars! that seems unreal to me, but then again i'm not a gecko guy... is that really a realistic price? i can't believe anyone would pay that much for a gecko - not trying to start a fight, just asking. (they were amazing)
