Is it okay to feed a corn while opaque? Mine has never refused a meal---even when opaque. Does this affect the shedding process at all?

I have never had a snake have a shedding problem from eating while in the blue.

JETZEN Oct 12, 2004 03:01 AM

yes #7 R-okt and #6 sunglo are about to shed soon. Believe it or not, i rarly handle my snakes and only then when i'm swapping out tubs or shooting pics. This feeding in my hand gives them something to do when theyr'e getting their pic taken, lol. Of my colubrid collection of 73 most all my corns and only some of my kings will co-operate and eat in my hand and most my obsoleta's flat out refuse. thanks for looking, John
